Volume

The volume is a measure of the space that the 3D shape takes up. This is measured in cubes instead of squares.

To work out the volume of a cuboid, simple multiply the length by the height by the width.

Volume=L\times w\times h

  • Volume of a cylinder: area of circle x length
  • Volume of triangular prism: area of triangle x length
  • Volume of L-shaped prism = area of L shape x length
